Soundings: Breaking Free

wow, it's been a while since i've done "traditional art," as DA now calls it. mechanical pencil and pen pen pen! whee! i drew this as a submission for "Soundings," my school's annual student-published literary and art magazine. cuz it's symbolic of art and stuff. yeah...

i might add this caption/poem thing on it too:

Art is a state of being, much like dreams, where time holds no sway; and, as in a dream, is only limited by the distance between thoughts.
